1. Rotate or replace your mattress
This is something we often forget to do on a regular basis but can make a world of difference for a good night’s sleep.
2. Change your bed linens for a fresh new pair of crisp, cotton sheets
Indulge in a good quality cotton (preferably organic) material with a high thread count for your master bedroom.
3. Rotate upholstered furniture cushions
This is a practice I teach to clients when we deliver new furniture to their homes. By simply rotating or flipping seat and back cushions of your furniture on a regular basis, you can extend the life of these pieces by years. Fluff your cushions and pillows!
4. Replace worn out or flattened accent pillows
Ditch the old lumpy polyester filled throw pillows for ones that have a down or down blend insert. This is also a quick, easy way to update colors for a more seasonal look.
5. Add Fresh flowers
Nothing says ‘Spring’ like fresh flowers throughout your home. A bouquet in a room or two brings the fresh feel of nature indoors. Consider clipping forsythia branches or other outdoor sprigs if you are fortunate to have these growing in your yard.
