We recently completed this project for a client in John’s Creek. This small room off the kitchen had previously been used as a make-shift guest bedroom, but the homeowners decided to make better use of this room in the house.
The lady of the house desired her own workspace and personal retreat from a busy life as Mom to an active family! Custom shelving and workspaces were installed on one side of the room, but our favorite part was the relaxing seating area we created in front of the window. A comfy upholstered chaise/bench along with good lighting for reading, and soft, airy sheer drapery panels contributed to a relaxing environment free from clutter and noise.
The touches of hot pink in the accent pillows, artwork and orchid give a nice feminine touch – and the faux cowhide rug is just the right anchor for this space.
Our client had originally intended to share the workspace with her three high school children but decided to keep it for herself once the transformation was completed!
