noun: an ornamental design of four lobes or leaves as used in architectural tracery, resembling a flower or four-leaf clover.
This classic design element continues to have a strong influence in today’s home furnishings and décor. While at the High Point Furnishings Market, I was able to find this shown in some way in nearly every show room I visited.
I am sharing just some of the products I found with this design incorporated into them. From rugs, wall coverings and textiles to casegoods and other accent pieces, it can be found be used far and wide in all products having to do with home furnishings and interior design.
