Fireplace Makeover # 3 – Before & After

AHT Interiors has recently completed several fireplace redesigns and we’re wrapping up the month of June by sharing one last fireplace wall makeover.

Our next client wanted a very updated look, not just for the fireplace but for the entire wall surrounding it. We utilized floating shelves to bring a modern aesthetic and a cleaner, more open feel to this fireplace wall.

Client’s style: Transitional
  • Low profile tiled hearth in a 12 x 24 tile (by Design Tiles by Zumpano)
  • Reframed the fireplace for new stone surround (by Design Tiles by Zumpano)
  • Custom-built floating wall cabinets and doors painted in SW Emerald Urethane Urbane Bronze #7048
  • Custom mantel and floating shelves stained in custom espresso to match the floor.  Stain match done by Sherwin Williams.
  • The fireplace was converted to Gas Logs (by Bolton Heating, Air and Fireplaces)
