Uttermost Dining Lighting

Take a fresh look at the light fixtures in your home.  This is a great way to update your interior décor without reinventing everything.

One great new idea is to replace a traditional chandelier over your dining table with a grouping of fixtures at differing heights. If you have a rectangular table this helps to disperse light along the length of the table.  It also creates a more interesting look than just the single fixture suspended over the center of the table. Remember to keep the lowest fixture at least 30” above the table top so that those seated at the table can see each other.

You may also want to consider a similar type of grouping at varying heights in a dark corner of a room or in a reading area. This same concept would also work for an entryway, especially if you have a higher ceiling in that area.

Whether you have a more traditional style home in Milton or perhaps something more contemporary on Lake Lanier, these ideas can work well in both environments.
