Window Boxes

Today’s focus is something that can be enjoyed whether you own a home or rent an apartment. Window boxes are hot these days, and it’s no wonder why … they bring color, freshness, and cheer to your home and can be viewed from inside as well as out.

Well-maintained window boxes can certainly help with your home’s curb appeal, but they can also be placed in rear-facing windows, on deck railings, and on legs of their own in front of empty walls or fences. In short, today’s window boxes can go almost anywhere!

We hope you enjoy this bit of inspiration for another easy project you can do to refresh your home. It’s simple to get started; find a window box you love (or build your own – see below), fill it with good soil and your favorite plants … and voila.
