Today’s inspiration from the team at AHT Interiors is one of our teen bedroom redesign projects. We hope you enjoy this beautiful, budget-friendly design!

This terrace-level space turned bedroom provided plenty of space, but the extra-large room opening didn’t allow for much privacy.  We decided to go with a barn door, which not only allowed for privacy but also added a distinctive design element to complement the entire terrace level.

This teen was looking for a clean, uncomplicated look with an understated white, cream and blue color scheme. To add interest to the walls, a millwork design was added to the bottom of the accent wall; the walls and millwork were then painted with Sherwin Williams Origami White (7636) to brighten the room.  Next, we added geometric wallpaper to the top of the accent wall to bring dimension and design without adding more color. The new bedside tables and lamps framed the bed beautifully, and a cozy distressed rug and modern blue velvet chaise lounge completed the design.
