We’re excited to show you more from our latest multi-room interior design project! This client wanted updates to their dining room, banquette, and living room, as well as a conversational room conversion.
Today, please enjoy our final article in the series, the unused room makeover.
The team at AHT Interiors had already designed new living room, dining room and banquette interiors for our clients when we began this project.
They were not using this room to its fullest potential, so after discussing their needs, preferences and lifestyle, we decided together to turn this unused room into an area for adult conversation. There happened to be several items of furniture throughout their home available to incorporate into this new room: three upholstered chairs, a cocktail ottoman, a small sofa, and a mirror as well a beautiful large credenza.
By simply adding a few items to their beautiful, quality furnishings we quickly turned this underutilized room into a gorgeous retreat! Attractive crystal lamps and accessories were added to the credenza top, and drink tables were placed for convenience near the upholstered chairs. A very large abstract art piece was added to fill the open wall space and bring a pop of color to the design. Custom pillows and window treatments (using performance fabrics) completed this gorgeous room.
